Lakeside Occupational Medical Center, Inc has recently announced its acquisition of BayCare Health system’s two occupational medical centers in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. BayCare felt that Lakeside has demonstrated a committment to the quality of health care in the Tampa area for 30 years, and that acquisition will prove to further increase the high standards of care the centers currently provide.  The additonal locations in the Lakeside network will offer employers and their employees more options and availablity for care. The centers work on a 24/7 basis accepting walk ins requiring treatment for a broad spectrum of health issues. How do you think this acquisition will affect the Tampa community?
