Obama, in a campaign rally in Tampa, FL, addressed Floridians about the most important issues of the presidential race. While he attacked McCain’s tactics and insisted that the focus be on the issues that plague our country, he spent time highlighting the biggest problems which he planned to deal with. Florida, he asserted, has suffered more job loss than any other state in the nation and has one of the lowest rates of citizens with health insurance. Obama insisted that the economy be rebuilt from the bottom up to solve these problems, and that four more years of Bush’s administration would not accomplish that. He also insisted that he would fight insurance companies to provide fair treatment and not exclude people with preexisting conditions. Also, that his administration would encourage preventative treatment and increased technology to lower the costs for everyone. Do you think Floridians will respond to his ideas for a solution?
