Many Americans have feared that as the problem with the economy grows more epic in scale, the health insurance reform promised by Obama would have to fall to the wayside. Not so, according to Florida health insurance specialist, Morgan Moran. Moran feels that the recent appointment of Tom Daschl as Secretary of Health and Human Services means that the issue still remains a top priority for Obama and that Daschl may be just the answer we were looking for. Reform? Yes - to some degree. Funding? I don’t see how unless GDP grows dramatically. At our current and promised (health care, Medicare, Social Security and other entitlements on the books, energy initiatives, maintaining a strong military, securing ports, bailouts etc.) spending vs our huge debt load and lack of revenue generation not even Houdini could, much less Daschl can, escape these realities
