Florida’s citizens rally over the proposed healthcare overhaul

75 people rallied outside of United States Senate Bill Nelson’s office in Florida on Thursday, hoping to encourage President Obama’s vision of healthcare insurance reform.People are frustrated with Nelson’s lack of information and how he is planning on voting on the healthcare reform specifics. The town’s people want Senator Nelson to get off the fence and support President Obama and his programs. They have said that Nelson should get with the Democratic programs and support what Obama is proposing to do. How do you feel?  Is Senator Nelson avoiding committing to one side or the other? As a Floridian how does his indecisiveness affect our state?

  1. Bud L Says:

Obama does not have a health care bill. Pelosi does and Kennedy does. And they are both frought with issues that should be discussed and analysed. Neither Nelson or any other legislator should commit at this point regardless of what 75 people want.
